day one

Days one and two were spent locally. On day one I found fleeting light on the beach and happened upon a sailboat wrecked on the beach. The seas were rough and clearly it had broken free from it moorings and washed ashore. A shame for the owner but for me it was another photographic opportunity. I chose to shoot in HDR and it turns out hat was the right choice as it maximized the camera's capability in the waning light. As I left the beach I found a local Irish pub and grill to be devoid of it's patrons and lit with it's recognizable neon signs. Another chance at HDR. Neon and fading light always make for a dramatic effect.
