I also tried my hand at conceptual photography. I am no master of this art by any means and this is my first attempt. Take it for what you want and make your own meaning of it. I went totally political and religious because I think it can ruffle feathers, and I am a ruffle feathers type of guy. This image was also shot in HDR and allowed me to play with light more than a static shot with regular lighting.

day two
Day two was spent with spiked nog in hand in my studio exploring light and composition with whatever I found in my house. A beaver skull made for an interesting subject. I have shot it before in black and white but never in HDR. So, another chance at the exploration of light. It turns out that the color HDR version was better than the black and white original. As boredom set in I tried my hand at capturing drops of liquid in a glass. Not at all original but I've never tried it before. So a few minutes later the martini glass comes out and the studio is ablaze with the pop of my speed light.
